I am all about the kids! My two boys fill my days with bliss and joy. I have always had a Holden Caulfield thing going on with kids -- I want to be thier hero, their favorite Uncle, their friend. My heart is filled with gratitude for being a part of two important programs that help young people.
The first of those is The MD Foodbank. There are hungry children right here in our backyard. Through volunteering and donations, Blue sky is proud to support something so great.
Second, In partnership with The ACEER Foundation, Blue Sky is launching Amazon Dream, a beautiful collection of items made in collaboration with Native people of the Peruvian Rainforest. Proceeds from purchases of the products go to educational supplies and recources that teach young poeple from the Rainforest the value of the standing forest. This, in turn, does a small part to save the Rainforest, and our planet's critically important natural resources.
Helping people and helping the planet. Makes me feel so fine!
In other news making me feel jazzy, we were thrilled to see so many friends at the recent trade shows. It was great to feel the excitement of a new season and to get to relax a bit with dear friends. Thanks and love to you all!
